What's different from last year?

You get to have Peking duck for dinner.

  1. Seriously, we're moving the Summit to Peking University, Beijing, China! With the support and partnership of Peking University, you'll enjoy a new place, new experience.
  2. Bigger prizes and more winners! Champion takes back USD10,000 (double from last year), first runner up takes home USD2,000 and the next 3 takes home USD1,000 each. Read this article for details.
  3. Top 5 will get mentorship from Roger and/or Richard of Founders Bootcamp, but a place in Young Founders Summit Global is not guaranteed and dependent on your ongoing performance. Read this article for details.
  4. Emulating the good work of Techstars' Startup Weekend , we have put together a Startup Weekend for our teenage founders. Ideate, form a team and complete your business proposal and pitch within 3 days, over the weekend! We are bringing in a suite of mentors who will coach you in person! While not compulsory to attend, the Best 80% of participants will automatically advance to the Semi-Finals. = Better Odds

If you joined last year, what we expect in terms of pitch video and pitch deck remains similar. A pitch deck which addresses the problem statement, target market, business model, etc. Remember though, 2 things make the biggest difference:

  1. Prototype
  2. Having real beta users / customers

So go ahead and get started!
